Intresting statistics

By Kington
If we reduce the population of the Earth to asmall town with 100 people and keep theproportions, it will look like this:
57 Asians
21 Europeans
14 Americans (northern and southern)
8 Africans
52 women
48 men
70 coloured-skins
30 caucasians
6 people would own 59% of the whole world wealth
and all of them will be from the United States ofAmerica
80 would have bad living conditions
70 will be uneducated
50 will be underfed
1 would die
2 would be born
1 will have a computer1 (only one) will have higher education
If you look at the world from this point of view, you will see how there is a big need of solidarity, understanding, patience and education. Also think about the following
If this morning you've woke up healthy, you are happier then 1 million people that will not survive next week.If you never suffered a war, the loneliness of the jail cell, the agony of torture, or hunger, you are happier than 500 million people in the world. If you can enter into a church/mosque without fear of jail or death, you are happier than 3 millionpeople in the world. If there is a food in your fridge, you have shoes and clothes, you have bed and a roof, you are richer than 75% of the people in the world. If you have bank account, money in your wallet and some coins in the money-box, you belong to the 8%of the people on the world, which are well-to-do.
If you read this you are three times more blessed because:
1. Somebody just thought of you.
2. You don't belong to the 200 million people thatcannotread.
3. And... you have a computer!
As somebody once said:" work as if you don't need money, love as if nobody never ever hurt you, dance, as if nobody can see you, sing, as if nobody can hear you, live, as if the Earth was a heaven."

After the whole week just when I thought that it was all finally over my dad decides to poke fun at me, in The Curve, I've had some pretty life shattering moments in the Curve that will change my perception of life for the rest of it so I wouldn't really like to go back to The Curve at all but yet I still found myself there.

My dad saw me slouching (it's pretty uncomfortable to stand straight when your shoulder is still quite chewed up) and he decided to cha me.

Dad: Do you know why you fell off your bike?
Me: Wha?
Dad: Because you were slouching slumped over like a C.

It's bad enough that people tease me over not knowing how to cycle/ staring at chicks/ stare at me wherever I go. That doesn't annoy me the least bit actually.

But when my dad tried to poke fun at me in the place I dislike the most with my multiple wounds all over in warm and humid conditions he was just plain asking for a lash out. After I poked him back for being tactless that he could still poke fun at me while everyone else at least avoided mentioning the wounds unless there's a perfectly good reason, he would still like to make fun of me over it. Score. It felt quite good because he was heaping shit on me all week and when I shot him back I hit home. Soundly.

I received a e-mail this morning which I found pretty funny.

Whats an "ocuntry"?....

Shit Week

By Kington
The week started off well with a large tip off about library week so no shit bricks situation there just got some photographers together and covered it well.

BUT what happened AFTER Monday was the shit.

Tuesday went well apart from the apparent fact that someone was ignoring me no matter how much the person tried to hide it but it doesn't matter. People have mood swings sometimes. But by evening I was starting to feel a bit down about WHY that person was ignoring me and while cycling I checked my watch and gave it a good 2 secs of concentration on that person and "BAM" well no more or less "Screech" as me and my bike ran into the ground trying to make a new pothole.

Wednesday Peggy took me to clinic although I was hurting like mad we made it to a clinic. My bloody GP suddenly altered his lunch hour to lunch hours 1-3 so we were stuck in ss2 and had to make the difficult drive back to Taman Mayang Jaya to go to Peggy's clinic.

Thursday was pretty uneventfull even though it was report card day apart from the fact my class teacher said i was improving. I spent the rest of the school hours taking pictures and then I carefully examined 2 things: the person that was ignoring me, my wounds. My elbow wound which there is no picture here on the site had gone septic from sweating, as well as my shoulder wound. The person that was ignoring me on the other hand gave me a bit of attention today when I went to see the bugger but we didn't talk much and the conversational traffic was pretty much

"can I ........"
Kington: ok

With conversational traffic like that I kinda feel like an ornamental piece in that person's life and well ornaments do break, get stolen or just go plain missing under Murphy's law.

Friday went pretty well compared to the last 2 days apart from being super bored at home while waiting for school to end for CF to start. But while it was still morning I had already exposed 2 very hurtfull lies. When CF we went to school for CF we realised that we had missed worship and since it was bible quiz we decided to just plain head for a good round of "Ashraf's House". My dota skills were still pretty doing quite good despite the fact that both my hands could hardly move but when we played CS thats when we got embaressed big time.

Thankfully so now it's Saturday morning and the week is about to end maybe next week might be better.

Accident victim?

By Kington
Just yesterday I fell of my bike and ploughed myself into the ground unceremoniously behind a car backing up.

PRAISE THE LORD, because the lady stopped.

Had me pissing in my pants.

Anyway the aunty then pulled me into her house. I feel lucky she didn't roll over me because I got up fast enough. Than and it's a Mercedes Benz. Pretty old model but I bet it still weighed about maybe......1.5 tons. bad way to get rolled over.

She drove me home in the end after getting my mom then my mom took me to hospital.

Sorry to all the unfortunate people I harassed yesterday out of sheer boredom.

The doctor soon checked all my wounds and limbs and concluded that there was no broken bones just pulled muscles. So they just cleaned my wounds, injected me with tetanus vaccine, and then......applied a deep red liquid which kinda resembled deoxygenated blood which was laced with clotting factors and antiseptic. And if you ever see that bottle.....trust me it would actually hurt less falling off the bike again than having them apply it.

WARNING!! IF YOU HAVE A WEAK STOMACH TURN BACK NOW BECAUSE IT'S ABOUT TO GET GORY IN THIS POST. FOR THOSE THAT AT LEAST WANT TO SEE A PICTURE SCROLL DOWN A BIT THEN LEAVE.

Penyu with Daniel Hon's pink umbrella.

Hit my chin.
Hickey my shoulder.
My arm masurbated the floor.
My leg went for a fracas.
I'll be back in school by Thursday to continue taking pictures even though my MC lasts for 3 days. Tata for now.

WOW!! great song from an unknown guy.

Sushi Rolls

By Kington
For father's day which just so happens to fall on my mom's birthday my sis came up with the idea to make japanese food.

I'm not allowed to use my handphone in front of my dad anymore so I can only show you guys the process of making sushi rolls sadly.

First you mix the japanese rice(really starchy) with some vinegar mix.

Lay the rice out on a seaweed wrap.....stick in your cucumber la mayo la crabstick la your lan..nvm. You stick it all in anyway and roll.(There are no pictures of the rolling because I had to use both hands but it's pretty much says it all in the name, ROLLING)

Rinse and repeat until you have enough sushi rolls to go around. And yes the white stuff is rice nothing else for my fellow classmates who are doing the reproductive section of bio.

Sambo Master

My sister just showed me yesterday this clip on youtube.com

They're supposed to be a surround sound system I think.

If you're gonna whine about the language go get a life it's funny for what it is not because it's in japanese.

On sunday SMK Damansara Jaya is having a massive carnival so if anyone is feeling free turn up and ask for Kington. ^^ I'll be glad to point you to someone else who can show you around.

Noise

By Kington
It's been pretty quiet lately because nothing intresting at all is happening.

I've been feeling like a washed up guy recently because of the exam results, getting my essay thoroughly analysed, and for plucking up the courage only to ask an extremely ambigous question.

Oh well, anyway I'll probably post up a food update soon when I have the mood. It wasn't that good anyway.

Other posts to follow will be about something I'm hinting about it but no one seems to have noticed yet and since the reader population is small I don't think no one will notice till i post it up.

When I do I hope the population WILL shoot up.

Eurovision 2006

By Kington
I know everyone has been concentrating on American Idol but not to forget that there is also Eurovision.

Eurovision is like American Idol but.........it's for all the countries in Europe AND they can only submit 1 song each.

Given that it's obvious to see why the quality is going to be better. And I don't get to watch tv anyway.

Russian dude. 2nd in Eurovision.

SEE THOSE HIPS SWING BABY. High amplitude low frequency!!!!!!!!

Dahm blardy gay though.

MORE FOOD

By Kington
Roast pick anything you want. Need i say more? Oh by the way they had grilled prawns and soft shelled crabs.

I didn't take a picture of the chocalate souflle though. But it was dahm f***ing good. Soft warm choclate souflle in a cup with and crispy outside served with italian vanilla ice cream.........*drools*

Glorious Stuffing Continued

By Kington
Still appetizers: clockwise from bottom.

Snails and celery stalk (quite nicely done), air dried beef, salad, a slice of cheese and ham pie, and a roasted brinjal with sundried tomato sandwhich(very good but too cold brrrrr....)

Center: a roasted onion hollowed out and filled with cheese and ham(too cold also brrrrr....)

PIZZA: squid ink and cheeze pizza(sweet)

Now finally the REAL deal the thing i've been laying my eyes on all this time.......CEASER SALAD.(had better sadly)

And well salmon: the dude at the place was a bit blur so when i asked him what that was at first coz the salmon was pretty mangled he said it was salmon. OK a bit obvious but whoops. Then i asked him how the salmon was made.....he told me it's a fish. WTH!!!???DUH!!!!. Then i rephrased it what was it made with then finally i got a straight answer.(salmon baked with mayonaise, herbs and lemons)

Clowning around he gave my mom a heart shaped baloon and called himself banana. ( you can't see it here but he's dark skinned)

Oysters fresh from the pearl!!!

Maybe not that fresh but they were the freshest oysters i've had in a while.

Well it seems I'm still not done coz there's just sooooo much more to go. I'll probably have it in by Friday after exams. Kalkena is finally done picking photos.....unsuitable dun say no good la...I haven't even said ur writing angle no good yet right?.......

Brunch Buffets are Bad for Health

By Kington
For mother's day my family went for a buffet at Westin: Prego and it was as usual a trip to the place called "out of this world" with every bite we took.
We were lucky enough to pick up free vouchers to go for a meal at Westin and we thought "There's no way were gonna settle for anything other than Prego"

After some tricky parking issues we got there a litttttttlllllllleeeee(1 hour) toooooo early and decided to walk around Starhill I haven't been to KL for sometime so pardon me.

Almost everything at Starhill pretty much costs minimum 5k including food of course(if you tried hard enough) the rental there for every shop is soooooo steep they can even afford to hire someone to hit your lift buttons. Imagine going to 1U and you see someone doing that for you........ahhhh bliss but we didn't take the lift sadly.

Ahh wouldn't you like to dine there.... (Shook not Prego')

Now on to the food at Prego. Now first things first Prego can easily be said to be one of the top Italian eateries in the country but there are others so before you Italian food afficionandos can start attacking i acknowledge that there ARE better Italian dining places in the country.

Food was served in a very friendly manner for a buffet. Instead of you going to get the food the food comes to you. Now i know you guys must be thinking "With all the food at a buffet how can you possibly know everything they're going to have on offer" well here's the magic the chefs walk around offering the food "main courses" as the put it such as:

Seafood soup with huge prawns, squids, and "lala" BIG "lala"and there was a lot of it to go around in that soup.

And while we were eating that.We had THIS:

Some wierd melted cottage cheese(ok la) some toasted bread with avocado spread ^^ some wierd ham/nut like ham and the Italian Fill-O.

And while we ate that my parent's drank:
Lychee martini complete with lychee on a toothpick.

And:
Apple martini complete with floating green apple slice.

Then the chef(s) came with the main course(s):
Alfredo fussili pasta and seashell magherita pasta.(simple yet super chunted)

Then with the typical buffet style we attacked the appetizer bar the only thing they DON'T bring to you:
Clockwise from the top: Salmon baked with lime and herbs, parmesan tarts, Italian pie, seafood salad, potato salad with argulla and rotadella pasta.

If bio goes well tomorrow I'll finish up this blog entry if it doesn't there won't be a blogger anymore so tata for now and enjoy the food cause I know I did. I had hell trying to get this post to look right so appreaciate it guys.

Becaused I promised

By Kington
Ok moving along to Sunday,

I now have found inner piece once again so I'm ready to start writing again.(could be from all that moral essays)

Sunday wasn't looking very sunny as I was once again on duty (because I insisted on going -_- bad idea)

Well first you would ask what could be bad about going for a IU but well you see....

The first person i ajak: not going coz of various reasons(information withheld if you know about it dun comment about it)

I'm taking pictures in a hotel again: hotels are notorious for having bad and i mean bad lighting especially for cameras.

I had to bloody pay(initially of course) still got me highly pissed la anyway.

After much trouble and (paranoia: thanks Su Ann and Laura I always trust your advice) I've got my clothes, appointed myself to go and all. All my plans fail because I forgot to secure a key element. (shhhhh dun say it out loud)

I hitched a ride with the birdie there and when i sat down in his car i realised a problem.....white shirt, black pants(no problem yet) black shoes, but when i sat down i realised that slacks are normally cut a bit short so that you don't step on them......so WHITE SOCKS.

When we got to Royale Bintang and I went to buy new socks in The Curve while Daniel went back for his permission slip to get in.

I then slipped in to take backstage photos before the event started.

More on it tomorrow or at least when i get that bloody photo selection back from Kalkena.

Crap connections and a sour weekend

By Kington
Ok first off covering the basic rules i set out for my blogging which i will tell you all:

1. I withhold distastefull information
2. I will not really say everything here.
3. Since I'm waaaaaayyyyyy toooo honest for the good of anyone I will occasionally withold information for good reasons

And now on to what maybe THE WORST WEEKEND EVER

Now my definition of a bad weekend used to be going down to Singapore and coming back on the same day and having to do some heavy travelling/ a lot of homework the following day(doesn't homework feel like your trekking)

But it just pretty much was redone and so now we have the worst weekend ever for pretty much years to come.

First off since all weekends start with saturday so this post shall also follow the chronological order of days and time.

Saturday,

"Dear world, I know i've caused a lot of pain and suffering to you in the past 17 years but please don't try to return it all in 1 weekend" was my little prayer at the begining of the week, but it seemed hell wanted a piece of that action too.

So it seems what could be bad on a Saturday without koku, but as a photographer for the school I had to cover MAC, never mind i've got a team of 5 this year, Ashton's got debate, never mind 4 people left, Pn Cecilia says dun toture Peggy by asking her to change so much, NEVER MIND got 3(a bit of a squeeze), Wai See has got tuition at 11 -_- Buttf***ed.

So just for a breakdown for you people MAC means a marathon in camera holding for me it involves having all of us photographers taking turns taking pictures of people collection prizes for all of the reciepients. Now i know you guys must be thinking "How heavy can a camera be? Aiya Kington's a blardy P****" now i shall show you guys a very intresting comparison

Your average camera weighs about 100-200grams
My Nikon d70 SLR weighs about 585 grams without the lense
http://digitalcameras.kelkoo.co.uk/b/a/ps_8952496/124901.html

Try holding that for 2 hours straight. I'll post up the rest of the weekend tomorrow I feel too sour currently to continue typing. A good session of diablo would perk me right up.

Of strong rain and pink umbrellas

By Kington
Last Tuesday me and Daniel aka the birdie had to run home under the heavy rain and got our books soaked. And we had to do it all over again -_-

Who knew it would come in handy not to wear underwear today.

JUST KIDDING LA STOP THROWING UP!!

Well who knew i came home in dry underwear but was soaked everywhere else.

I already knew it was gonna be that bad but never expected stranded at parkson in the heavy rain bad!!!

Btw belian people Ys studio refused to sponsor us. (I had to walk back from uptown to find out)

After coming back from uptown I went to "Ashraf's House" the one with a lot of computers and had a quick game with the guys only to be frustrated by the 2 on 1 situation. Then when we finally said thank you to the "house owner" we realised that we might as well shit bricks with the heavy rain and walked to 7-11. After a bit of mucking around with my handphone smsing and taking a few shots it ended up in a plastic bag as it's not really wheather proof to begin with.
After waiting about an hour and seeing it wasn't going to get any better and as Birdie was feeling cold because he wanted to drink a slurpee we went back to "Ashraf's House" and watched Wei Yew play.

Finally after seeing him play for a while we went back to 7-11 and Birdie bought a pink umbrella.

My slow ass camera didn't really get the shot right so all I've got is this wierd bigfoot style picture.

Of prayers and Singapore

By Kington
I know this is a bit old but it's still open for posting.......... QIN MING!!!

The One Day of the year where I have to travel south all the way you guessed it to Singapore 4:30 hours BY CAR EVERY YEAR!!!

Well I'm 17 now I think that it's not necessary to bitch about it anymore coz it's not gonna change anything.

So without further ado lets start the journey at:
5:30 am Everyone woke up to start packing well actually just me coz everyone else had to get the duck reroasted and chicken steamed and stuff like that but i just wokeup then and assisted with the packing.(it's great when people don't trust your cooking skills)

6:10 We leave and seeing as over the hills in the sky (at 6 Am going south u can't really tell apart the sky from the hills) my dad says he wants to put in a few quick laps. We oblige. Now this is where it gets strange year after year i fall asleep during the journey since it requires me to wakeup SO FREAKING UNGODLY UNHOLY EARLY but this year no nap no sleep no yawning zip nada.

9:30 (I'll leave you to fill in the gap on why the journey only took 3:20 hours...) We arrive at the border of Malaysia and submit our passports for checking and stuff to make sure were not some kind of illegal border jumpers or drug lords or....nvm.........

10:00 (small island long and windy roads) We reach the temple.

10:30 We get in the blardy temple and actually get parked!!!!

10:45 We set up the table light the incense yada yada yada....

11:30 WE FEAST!!! For this year on the menu we have:

1 Succulent Rack Of Roasted Pork Ribs
1 Well Steamed Chicken
1 Whole Roasted Duck
Lettuce
Hard Boiled Eggs
12:30 After having an OVERTLY hearthy meal we proceeded to look for ice cream coz SINGAPORE IS A ISLAND THAT IS ACTUALLY HOTTER THAN MALAYSIA???!!!
15:00 No ice cream and stuck with some wierd extremely sour and bitter shake at Borders @Wheelock Place
15:15 We take off down the highway
17:30 Smooth
18:00 BLARDY FREAKING JAHM
20:00 Reach PJ
21:00 Have some blardy awesome hokkien fried mee
22:00 A good bath.
22:30 (really good bath) sit down poke some shit
23:00 poke the com
1:00 Sleep
blogger is having some wierd problems currently so i'll upload the rest of the photos another day

KBU and Uncomfortable Moments

By Kington
After Colin graciously lent me his card reader(many thanks and may your hair grow in abundance) i can finally update my blog.

Last saturday i went for a little seminar on improving my dismal Bahasa Malaysia marks. I really didn't think about bringing a camera as it was out of bounds because it was in KBU but OH GOD, OH SHOCK, THE HORROR.....PN SHARON ASKED ME TO TAKE PHOTOS OF THE LECTURER!!!

To my supprise and relief SHE brought the camera.

The lecture turned out to be total crap for the first 2 hours anyway so most of us didn't really listen. We then had breakfast but i was quite full from my leftover pizza that morning. When we were trying to procure the food from the organizers we saw the most Malaysian thing.......an insanely unwell defined que so after much struggle we got our food and went to sit down.

The girls from our class then asked me where I was gonna find a place in the overcrowded canteen but soon enough i found kein yew and the guys at a relatively available table so i got myself a chair and realised that the girls didn't see where was the place when i went over to lead the way.....THIS GUY FROM ANOTHER SCHOOL CAME ALONG AND STOLE MY CHAIR!! LIKE SWEET JESUS I JUST LEFT IT FOR LIKE 20 SECS AND HE COMES ALONG TO TAKE MY CHAIR!!!??? It's like he's too freaking lazy/stupid to figure out where to get one of his own.

Deciding that seeing how Bahasa Malaysia was already his mother toungue and he was at the course with us i realised that trying to reason with him or to argue with him would be pointless as dumb people never understand arguements.

Before the second half began KBU sent in this guy which just TOTALLY JOIN KBU TODAY he started telling us about how grand kbu was and i realised i might as well take a toilet break that was when i saw.....

It just strikes me as odd. Do you guys see what i mean?

It's a freaking FLUSHING pullstring hanging out of the ceiling???!!!

After that I followed captain honny to centrepoint where he had lunch...i just picked of some of his fries being a unroyally broke person(thanks hon). When he went back in to buy lunch for his sister, I had THE most embaressing conversation with Jee Lian. Following this was pretty much along the lines of our conversation or as much as i remember it.

Kington: *waves*

Jee Lian: *waves*

Kington: Remember me? Wai Lum's cousin.

Jee Lian:

Jee Lian: Yeah, Of course. Do YOU remember who am I? *covers nametag*

Kington: Of course Jee Lian marh.(getting lined up for big screwup)

Jee Lian: Thats because u saw my nametag right?

Kington: Nolarh i can recognized you (IS WHAT I SHOULD HAVE SAID BUT NOOOOO!!!!)

Kington: Yeah sorry. (too honest)

Jee Lian: Wow you've changed a lot since the last time i saw you 5 years ago.

Kington: 5 years? I thought I met you in F1 (big F*** up)

Jee Lian: Nolarh we were in primary school together la. Std 6 remember

Kington: Uhhh.. No (too blunt)

Jee Lian: Remember Dennon?

Kington: *struggling* ....Yeah. Sorry la I really can't remember meeting you in Primary school.

Jee Lian: Wah dahm mean wei!

I kinda forgot the rest of the conversation but it really made me feel like a real prick. But hopefully she'll forgive me and I won't be living through any of these uncomfortable conversations anytime soon. Either that or I gotta learn not to be so brutally honest.

Exam Results

By Kington
The week started off pretty well with a 61 for physics but it quickly degenerated into a pile of squat today as I received my MOD MATHS, EST, AND NOT TO FORGET KIMIA.

After seeing my dismal performance in the mod maths department i realised that this is not exactly going to be a good day.....

Est was met with a mark that proved it wasn't so easy after all it seemed as if Pn Koh wants us to elaborate on every DAHM point just like how our grandparents tell us of the sufferings they had to endure eating tapioca during world war 2.....except with more elaborations

During mod maths we braced ourselves for the worse but turns out juz me and penyu did poorly with daniel owning us with his sudden newfound intelligence and proficiency in the subject but.... i would have to say the biggest gripe i had of the day was when Pn Goh SMILED AS SHE HANDED ME MY PAPER. I know i didn't do so well...but whats her problem man it's as if she really doesn't like me and is pleased as pie to see me fall flat for mod m3???

After all of that it was finally time for Kimia the dreaded 1 my one achilies heel the one i loudly and proudly said to the paper "I don't quite give a damn about you anymore." I was then astounded by the fact that I had been belly flopping into shallow water so far and then all of a sudden me and Laura(who was constantly tapping the table with some kinda tribal battle theme while we were waiting for the results) PASSED!! Well yeah i know Jorrel says it's not good enough but well Jorrel I'm willing to take a half dead fish for a meal rather than no meal. But sadly for Daniel who normally does better than me at Kimia suddenly found himself scraping for a pass.

SO far it's been quite an ok turn out this time with my Kimia, Biology and Bahasa Malaysia showing no improvement so I'm kinda worried about my SPM but i guess it'll improve or my future would be very uncertain or my nuts could just be hanging from the wall.

I've been quite lazy with the html thing....I wish Mike would just gimme a crash course though *hint hint*

UP AND RUNNING

By Kington
Ok after a couple of weeks of reading other blogs (and getting pissed off) it seems like a good idea to open a blog (not according to sue wei though) and so this is the very first post on this blog just to get the ball rolling and till i can figure out how to work the dahm html codes.

It's the day after the 5 belian picnic and my butt is still sore from landing on it but it was a blast anyway but now my leg thigh muscles has seized so now i have resorted to limping around.

More on that in the following posts or some other stuff i've been thinking on putting up
