Brunch Buffets are Bad for Health

By Kington
For mother's day my family went for a buffet at Westin: Prego and it was as usual a trip to the place called "out of this world" with every bite we took.
We were lucky enough to pick up free vouchers to go for a meal at Westin and we thought "There's no way were gonna settle for anything other than Prego"

After some tricky parking issues we got there a litttttttlllllllleeeee(1 hour) toooooo early and decided to walk around Starhill I haven't been to KL for sometime so pardon me.

Almost everything at Starhill pretty much costs minimum 5k including food of course(if you tried hard enough) the rental there for every shop is soooooo steep they can even afford to hire someone to hit your lift buttons. Imagine going to 1U and you see someone doing that for you........ahhhh bliss but we didn't take the lift sadly.

Ahh wouldn't you like to dine there.... (Shook not Prego')

Now on to the food at Prego. Now first things first Prego can easily be said to be one of the top Italian eateries in the country but there are others so before you Italian food afficionandos can start attacking i acknowledge that there ARE better Italian dining places in the country.

Food was served in a very friendly manner for a buffet. Instead of you going to get the food the food comes to you. Now i know you guys must be thinking "With all the food at a buffet how can you possibly know everything they're going to have on offer" well here's the magic the chefs walk around offering the food "main courses" as the put it such as:

Seafood soup with huge prawns, squids, and "lala" BIG "lala"and there was a lot of it to go around in that soup.

And while we were eating that.We had THIS:

Some wierd melted cottage cheese(ok la) some toasted bread with avocado spread ^^ some wierd ham/nut like ham and the Italian Fill-O.

And while we ate that my parent's drank:
Lychee martini complete with lychee on a toothpick.

And:
Apple martini complete with floating green apple slice.

Then the chef(s) came with the main course(s):
Alfredo fussili pasta and seashell magherita pasta.(simple yet super chunted)

Then with the typical buffet style we attacked the appetizer bar the only thing they DON'T bring to you:
Clockwise from the top: Salmon baked with lime and herbs, parmesan tarts, Italian pie, seafood salad, potato salad with argulla and rotadella pasta.

If bio goes well tomorrow I'll finish up this blog entry if it doesn't there won't be a blogger anymore so tata for now and enjoy the food cause I know I did. I had hell trying to get this post to look right so appreaciate it guys.
